About Us

Hand in Hand Mentoring program is designed to create genuine support for all students kindergarten thru high school, no matter the age, cultural background, or learning disability. We provide the tools necessary to establish a positive environment, increase student engagement and committed to working with families to promote healthy relationships. Our mission is to increase the likelihood of successful outcomes for all students!

Our Mentors will work one-on-one with each participant and in groups. We aim to make school fun for our students and provide incentives to be the best they can be.

To produce positive, encouraged, motivated, and informed citizens in the world, while decreasing negative outcomes, and increasing the likelihood of successful outcomes for all students.

Provide students with genuine guidance and support, increase positive influences within the community through events and building partnerships, support school personnel to decrease suspensions and bullying, while increasing academic performance and attendance rates, supporting guardians to increase school to home engagement and support, and creating a safe environment for all school personnel.

The goal is to connect all individuals and factors that directly affect each student. Mentors connect with the guardians, teachers, school personnel, community, and peers of each student to increase and promote positive and healthy relationships and school engagement to increase the likelihood of successful outcomes.

Mentors focus on providing genuine advocacy for each student, to increase self-esteem, self-worth, and mental and emotional stability. Creating bonds and relationships with teachers to increase effective communication to better support students academically. Having constant communication with guardians to help increase attendance, positive behaviors, respect, cooperation, and overall good behavior at school as well as at home.
